About Us

Hillman Community Radio is a low power FM (LPFM) radio station in Hillman, Michigan. The station broadcasts serving the Hillman and surrounding area using 100 watts of power.

We provide local programming focused on the greater Hillman area. Our programming includes parades, music, community functions, Brush Creek Mill activities, car shows, local government meetings, and any other event that helps to inform our local citizens!
 

Hillman Community Schools

Our goal is to partner with Hillman Community Schools and to work with the school to allow class credit for participation in Hillman Community Radio.

Organization

Hillman Community Radio formed a non-profit corporation on October 16, 2013. Officers are Dave Post (Chairman), Bob Tulgetske (Vice-Chair), John Fitzgerald (Secretary), and Tom Edison (Treasurer). HCR was given a license to build the radio station in 2014. The HCR Board makes all decisions on operations of the station.

Funding

Hillman Community Radio operates using volunteers and fund-raising including program sponsors, donations and grants.
